امروزه محققان معتقدند خلاقیت نیز مانند بسیاری دیگر از استعدادها تا حد زیادی می تواند اکتسابی بوده و از طریق برنامه ای هدفمند و منسجم به دست آید. خلاقیت را می توان یافتن راه حلی جدید برای حل یک نیاز دانست. اگرچه تعریف آن می تواند بسیار متنوع و گوناگون تر باشد. در زمینه خلاقیت و نوآوری، معماری یکی از پیشگام ترین هنر ها بوده به طوری که می توان ادعا کرد هر پروژه معماری چه کوچک و چه بزرگ در هر نقطه جهان چالشی است که معمار با خلاقیت خود به آن پاسخ می گوید.
بزرگترین تشکل جامعه مهندسیِ ایران، در راستای گردهمایی اساتید برتر، متخصصان و دانشجویان با استفاده از خلاقیت، ارایه ایده و طرح، تبادل نظر و… در راستای جذب سرمایه گذاران محترم، یکی از مهمترین اهداف این انجمن می باشد.
